Overview

Store policies (return policy, privacy policy, terms of service) are displayed during checkout and in your store footer. They're required for compliance and help build customer trust.

Setting up policies

Configure your policies in Settings β†’ Policies:

  • Return & refund policy β€” conditions for returns, exchange, and refund timeframes
  • Privacy policy β€” how you collect, use, and protect customer data
  • Terms of service β€” legal terms for using your store
  • Shipping policy β€” delivery times, costs, and insurance details

Jewelry-specific policy tips

  • Clearly state your policy on custom/engraved items (often non-returnable)
  • Include your appraisal and certification policy
