Initial setup wizard
Walk through the setup wizard to configure your store basics.
Overview
After creating your account, Katura's setup wizard walks you through the essential configuration steps. You can complete setup in about 10 minutes, or come back to any step later from your admin dashboard.
Step 1: Store information
Enter your business details:
- Store name β your business name as customers will see it
- Store address β used for tax calculations and shipping
- Phone number β displayed to customers for support
- Currency β your primary selling currency (you can add more later)
- Time zone β for accurate order timestamps and reports
Step 2: Brand identity
Upload your brand assets:
- Logo β displayed in your store header and emails (recommended: SVG or PNG, 400Γ100px minimum)
- Favicon β the small icon in browser tabs (32Γ32px)
- Brand colors β primary and accent colors for your theme
Note
You can update all branding settings later from Settings β Brand in your admin.
Step 3: Choose a theme
Select from 5 professionally designed jewelry themes. Each theme is fully customizable and mobile-responsive:
- Maison β Elegant and minimal, ideal for luxury brands
- Atelier β Warm and artisanal, perfect for handmade jewelry
- Brilliance β Bold and modern with large product imagery
- Heritage β Classic and traditional for established jewelers
- Moderne β Contemporary with clean lines and bold typography
Step 4: Add your first product
Add at least one product to preview your store. You can add products manually or import via CSV.
Step 5: Connect payments
Connect Stripe to start accepting credit card payments. The setup wizard includes a guided Stripe onboarding flow β you'll need your bank account details and tax ID.
Step 6: Set up shipping
Configure at least one shipping rate. You can set up flat-rate shipping, weight-based rates, or connect ShipStation for real-time carrier rates.
