Setting up Stripe
Connect and configure Stripe for payments.
Overview
Connect your Stripe account to start accepting payments on your Katura store. The setup takes about 5 minutes and requires your bank account details for payouts.
Setting up Stripe
- Go to Settings in your admin
- Open the Payments tab
- Click Connect Stripe
- You'll be redirected to Stripe to create or connect your account
- Complete Stripe's onboarding form (business info, bank details, identity verification)
- Return to Katura — your Stripe account is now connected
Note
Stripe may require additional verification documents depending on your country and business type. This is standard KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance.
Testing payments
Before going live, test your checkout using Stripe's test mode. Use these test card numbers:

Use any future expiry date and any 3-digit CVC.
Stripe fees
Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction (US pricing). International cards may incur an additional 1% fee. Katura does not add any additional payment processing fees.
