Overview
Tax overrides let you apply different tax rates or exemptions to specific products, customers, or regions.
Product-level overrides
- Tax-exempt products — some jewelry items may be exempt in certain jurisdictions
- Reduced rate products — items that qualify for lower tax rates
Customer-level overrides
- Wholesale tax exemption — mark wholesale accounts as tax-exempt in Wholesale Accounts
- Non-profit exemption — for qualifying organizations
- Diplomatic exemption — for international purchases with tax treaties
