Store credit

Overview

Issue store credit to customers for returns, exchanges, or loyalty rewards. Store credit works as a payment method at checkout.

Issuing store credit

1. Go to the customer's profile in Customers
2. Click Add Store Credit
3. Enter the amount and reason
4. The credit is added to the customer's account immediately

Redemption at checkout

At checkout, customers with store credit see their available balance and can choose to apply it. Store credit is applied before charging the remaining balance to their card.

Tracking balances

View all store credit balances in Customers. Each customer's profile shows their current balance and a history of credits and redemptions.
