Process returns and issue refunds.

Overview

Process returns and issue refunds directly from your admin. Refunds are processed through Stripe back to the original payment method.

Processing a refund

  1. Go to the order detail page
  2. Click Refund
  3. Enter the refund amount (full or partial)
  4. Add a reason for the refund
  5. Confirm β€” the refund is processed through Stripe

The order status automatically updates to Refunded. Stripe typically returns the funds to the customer within 5–10 business days.

Note

Partial refunds are supported. You can refund a portion of the order total while keeping the rest. This is useful for exchanges or when only some items are returned.

Return policies

Set up your return policy in Settings β†’ Policies. Your policy is displayed on your storefront and included in order confirmation emails. For jewelry, common policies include:

  • 30-day return window for standard items
  • No returns on custom/engraved items
  • Exchange-only policy for sale items
