Order management
View, process, and manage incoming orders.
Overview
The Orders page in your Katura admin shows every order from every sales channel — website purchases, in-person sales, private commissions, and Shopify imports — all in one place.
Viewing your orders
Go to Orders in your admin sidebar. The page shows:
- Status cards at the top: pending, processing, shipped, delivered, plus Shopify vs. Katura Website counts
- Searchable order table with order number, source, customer, items, total, status, sales rep, and date
- Pagination for stores with large order volumes
Filtering orders
Use the filter bar to narrow your view:
- Search — by order number, Shopify order number, customer name, or email
- Source — filter by Shopify Orders or Katura Website orders
- Status — show only orders with a specific status
- Exclude statuses — hide cancelled/refunded orders to focus on active work
Tip
On mobile, filters appear in a slide-out drawer. Tap the filter icon next to the search bar to access all filter options.
Order sources
Each order shows a color-coded source badge:

|---|---|---|
| Katura Website | Blue | Order placed through your online store |
| Shopify | Orange | Imported from your Shopify store |
| In Person | Green | Sale made in-store or at an event |
| Private Commission | Purple | Custom/bespoke order |
| Restyling | Pink | Jewelry restyling or redesign job |
Order statuses
Orders move through these statuses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | Order received, payment not yet confirmed |
| Paid | Payment confirmed |
| In Production | Custom/bespoke item is being made |
| Processing | Order is being prepared for shipment |
| Shipped | Order has been shipped with tracking info |
| Delivered | Order confirmed delivered |
| Cancelled | Order was cancelled |
| Refunded | Payment was refunded to the customer |
Quick actions
From the order list, use the ⋮ menu on any order to quickly:
- View order details
- Mark as processing, shipped, or delivered
- Delete an order (Owner role only)
Assigning sales reps
Each order can be assigned to a sales rep directly from the order table using the dropdown in the "Sales Rep" column. This ties into commission tracking for automatic commission calculation.
Creating orders manually
Click Create Order in the header to create an order manually — ideal for phone orders, in-person sales, or private commissions. You can set a custom order date for backdating historical orders.
